In the ’70s, this Minolta (pre-Konica) SRT-101 was my Uncle Felix’s. My sister inherited it in the late ’90s for her high school photo class.
Today I have inherited it from my sister. This Friday I am seeing my Uncle Felix for the first time in nearly a year. Full circle.
The oversaturation of digital isn’t an entirely bad thing; we all just need to be reminded of the pure, the organic and, well, “the uncompressed.”
